Nous sommes ravi.e.s d’annoncer la parution de notre premier titre en anglais autour des photographies de Ng Shi Wen à Singapour. Un grand merci à cette artiste qui offre un regard anthropologique neuf sur sa ville natale, développant des images de la vie quotidienne, loin des clichés de l’architecture high-tech de cette métropole 2.0.
Nous avons travaillé avec Ng Shi Wen en étroite collaboration pour mettre en relation ses images avec des constellations d’œuvres issues de la modernité et de la postmodernité qui, elles aussi, interrogent un certain rapport au monde et au capitalisme.

We are delighted to announce the publication of our first English-language title based on Ng Shi Wen’s photographs of Singapore. We would like to thank this artist for offering us a fresh, anthropological look at her native city, allowing us to discover it through images of everyday life, far from the clichés of the high-tech architecture of this 2.0 city. A huge thank you to Ng Shi Wen, with whom we worked closely to link his images with constellations of modern and post-modern works that also question a certain relationship to the world and to capitalism.
To ensure the widest possible distribution of this unconventional book, a French version will soon be available from Les plis du ciel, in early 2024.
